 WHAT WILL YOU DO?

In your role as a Social/Digital Strategic Director you will work with the Art Director/Designer, Sports Marketing Lead, Chief Creative Director and other key stakeholders to owna range of engagement work from content calendars to integrated marketing campaigns for a set of brands and key projects, for internal partner organizations and external businesses. 

  • Bring genuine, original creative ideas to the table.

  • Strong knowledge of digital, social media trends, landscape, and ability to concept with these touch points in mind.

  • Constant awareness of the industry, including groundbreaking ideas, emerging technologies and business solutions.

  • Understand the structure of a brand’s identity—how the visual and verbal executions come together to create a holistic brand experience.

  • Data-driven mindset who believes the best path is the one that can be proven

  • Field creative/strategy briefs and own projects and campaigns from beginning to end.

  • Recognize a client's needs and translate them into a creative concept or message.

  • Concept and ideate work quickly in a collaborative setting and in partnership with other disciplines.

  • Ability to craft great lines, but also the ability to write like a journalist, with an eye for the fresh take on a subject.

  • Compile presentation decks for internal and external review. Present effectively, whether for internal or client-facing project reviews.

  • Work effectively through all phases of production—internally and with external partners.

  • Work within budget, and scheduling requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, public speaking, presentation decks) 

  • Write with brevity, energy, and clarity

  • Follow agency and department protocols.

WHAT’S YOUR EXPERIENCE?

  • BA/BS in Advertising, Marketing, Arts, English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Writing for Mass Communication preferred or a degree in Design or Graphics Arts school with experience in digital/social

  • A strong, award-winning portfolio preferred.

  • 7+ years of advertising agency experience, or entrepreneurial street creds and experience copywriting, developing, and creating for digital/social

  • Excellent writing and verbal skills.

  • Excellent concepting skills.

  • Strong team collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency in video, digital, social, print and beyond—campaign integration across all channels.

  • Ability to manage challenging situations both internally and with the client.

  • Effective handling of multiple assignments in a fast-moving environment.

  • Comfortable with and receptive to feedback; desire to quickly address feedback.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Accountability and self-motivation.

  • Mac OS experience preferred.

  • Excellent computer skills in relevant software packages and digital platforms. Skill in Keynote is preferred. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud apps is a plus.
